Context: Dassies stay in colonies on mountain rocks. Like humans it is believed that they move homes from time to time. When they are moving home, they desert their place of residence and move as a colony in search of a new home. It is believed that once they set out to search for a new home, the dassies are so determined that they cannot easily be diverted. If u find or meet these animals moving home, there is nothing u can do to make them abandon their mission no matter how gud you are at achieving results
Application: Some people may not have known defeat in their life. Or they may have gotten things easy all the way which make them achieve whatever they set out to do whether good or not. They stay unchallenged for a long time. When they finally meet their match, this proverb is then used by those who witness the change of fortune.
